A scholar from Delhi College and member of the All India Scholars’ Affiliation (AISA) has filed a grievance alleging that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) participants “manhandled” and “molested” her right through a chat on virtual protection at Satyawati Faculty. She filed a police grievance with the Bharat Nagar police station on this regard. “I had completed giving my speech and there used to be no provocation in any respect. They simply sought after me to depart the venue,” she alleged.
Confirming grievance used to be won, DCP (northwest) Aslam Khan mentioned, “Now we have registered an FIR underneath sections 354A (sexual harassment), 323 (inflicting harm), 341 (wrongful restraint), 506 (threatening) and 509 (outraging the modesty of a girl) of the IPC.
