RAMPUR POLICE arrested two individuals after convalescing 141 cow and calf hides from their ownership in Khajuria police station house on Saturday. In step with the police, Haneef (43) and Alok (27) have been sporting the hides to Meerut on a mini truck. Alok, a resident of Meerut, used to be riding the automobile.
Station Space Officer (SHO) of Khajuria police station Brij Kishore Mishra stated, “We were given a tip-off that some other people have been illegally sporting livestock skins in a mini truck to Meerut. At round 11 am, police stopped the truck at Khwaja village. Whilst looking out the automobile, they recovered 141 skins.”
He added, “A veterinary physician who used to be known as to the spot showed that the recovered pores and skin belongs to cows and their progeny.” Rampur local Haneef and Alok have been arrested after a case used to be lodged in opposition to them beneath the Uttar Pradesh Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955, at Khajuria police station.
“All through wondering, Haneef instructed police that he had accrued the skins from other portions of Rampur and used to be sporting them to Meerut. Haneef didn’t divulge the identify of the one who had requested him to deliver the skins. Investigation is on. A pattern of the recovered skins can be despatched to a Mathura laboratory for additional exam,” stated Mishra.
